Rock Cancer is a BIG event that is put on every summer in Little Chute, Wisconsin and is the primary annual fundraiser for the Spierings Cancer Foundation. It is a day long celebration of life, music and fun for people of all ages.
Every year, Rock Cancer features a new t-shirt design and this year, I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to design the shirt! This years theme was retro/vintage and we used some old rock n' roll shirts as inspiration.
Since this is primarily a music festival, it was important to have some kind of musical element worked into the design. So we worked in a guitar pick as the main badge shape that surrounds an RC monogram with some cool vintage style wings. And of course, the distressed effect is the icing on the cake!
